Sea turtles released after rehab from pneumonia, fish hook

Two endangered sea turtles are swimming again in the Mississippi Sound after rehabilitation in south Mississippi. One is a 115-pound (52.1-kilogram) loggerhead that developed pneumonia while a Louisiana spillway was open. Earthquake rattles Mississippi at 2.3 magnitude

A 2.3-magnitude earthquake rattled northern Mississippi. The Sun Herald reports the 8-mile deep earthquake hit just east of Booneville, near the Tennessee state line, at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.
