Designed for those new—and not so new—to brownfield redevelopment, seasoned experts will guide you through an interactive series of presentations, panels, and case studies. You will gain knowledge and insights on how best to approach and structure your redevelopment project.

Recycling abandoned and under-utilized properties requires special knowledge and skills to manage contaminant issues. This practical and interactive workshop will provide you and your community with the tools, techniques, and funding resources required to bring projects in on-time and on-budget.

Brownfield redevelopment practitioners will be on-hand to discuss funding sources, project management, and give you the advice you need to move your project forward. The day will include a case study of the City of Knoxville's South Waterfront project, bringing together the information and knowledge gained from the workshop sessions.
