On Thursday June 21, 2012, in New
Orleans, EPA announced selection of the FY 2012 Environmental Workforce and Job
Training (EWD&JT) grants. There will be 15 grants awarded this year. Each
grant is $200K each for a total of $3 Million. Region 4 will receive one grant,
Durham NC. Durham is a previous recipient of two EPA Brownfields Job Training
grants and two Brownfields Assessment grants. Region 4 received 12 grant
proposals in this year’s EWD&JT competition.
